Whats the go with Lithium??
Lithium Batteries are proving to be a popular choice due to their expected 10 year
lifecycle (under ideal conditions).
As far as capacity vs weight and size they are at this time unmatched.
So if you have a space or weight problem Lithium is for you!!
Some points to keep in mind……
- You should not join managed lithiums
- most low cost stand alone lithium batteries have an onboard management system, we have seen these “fight” each other when batteries are connected in parallel resulting in poor charging and performance. The solution is to use a cust pack with external “Smarts”
- You must use a lithium charger
- Lithium batteries require special care when charging, only use a quality lithium charger
- This includes DC-DC and Solar chargers
